First grade students will take a walking field trip to the Grand Canyon Community Library in the spring. Each student will receive a form to be signed by parents prior to the field trip. This is to enable each first grader to have their own library card at our community library and be able to check out materials there. This year's field trip will be on April 10, 2008.
Seniors will take a research field trip to Cline Library at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in the spring. This will help them gather information for a required report. Students who are 18 can get their own community borrower's card from Cline Library. This year's field trip will be on Thursday, April 3, 2008.
